Snowfall wash · Cape Town
Snowfall Wash in Cape TownA proper wash, brought to you.
A snowfall wash is a mobile snow foam car wash: a high pressure wash, snow foam, hand dry and a deep vacuum, done at your home or workplace.
It is a simple way to get a dirty car properly clean, and it is the most affordable service on the Ace price list.
The wash
What is a snow foam car wash?
Snow foam is a thick blanket of cleaning foam that is sprayed over the whole car before anyone touches the paint. It clings to the bodywork and starts loosening dirt, so more of it rinses away before any contact wash happens.
That matters because dirt dragged across paint is what causes fine scratches. A car that is foamed and rinsed first has less grit on it by the time a mitt or cloth touches it. Our guide to snow foam vs a regular wash explains the difference in more detail.
Why Cape Town
Cape Town cars get dirty differently
Wind-blown dust and sand, coastal air and strong summer sun all end up on your paint. Left on the surface, that mix builds into a film that dulls the finish, and baked-on dirt is harder to remove every week it stays.
A regular snowfall wash keeps that film from building up. If your paint already looks tired or covered in fine circular scratches, a machine polish is the next step.
Choosing
Snowfall wash or full valet?
The snowfall wash is for a car that mainly needs to be clean: the outside washed and dried by hand, and the inside given a deep vacuum.
If you also want the interior detailed, the wheels and tyres done and the surfaces dressed, book the full valet detail. If the seats or carpets have stains, the upholstery and carpet deep wash is the one you want.
