The benefits
What window tinting does for your car
Privacy. Tinted windows make it harder for people to see in, so bags and belongings are less visible and you feel less on show in traffic.
UV protection. Tint film blocks a share of the sun’s ultraviolet rays, which fade and dry out interiors over time and are also not great for your skin on a long drive.
A cooler interior. Tint reduces the heat that comes through the windows, so the car is less of an oven when you get back to it, and the air conditioning has less to do. Our guide to window tint, heat and UV covers it in detail.
Before you book
Choosing a tint
The right tint depends on what you want from it: more privacy, more heat reduction, or both. It also depends on your vehicle.
There are also rules on how dark vehicle windows may be on public roads, so it is worth checking what is allowed for the windows you want tinted before you choose a darkness. Tell us what you are after and we will talk it through.
